Personal Approach
It may be that you are struggling to cope with an event or situation in your current life, or it may be that something has troubled you for some time and you now feel ready to look at it. Alternatively, you may have a sense that your life isn’t everything it could be. The counselling relationship, based on safety, warmth, understanding, respect and support has the ingredients for you to unlock your potential for emotional well-being by exploring and clarifying issues that are difficult to see clearly in everyday life, and because counselling sessions are non-directive you can decide which aspects are important for you to focus on.
My committment is to be alongside you and to try and understand how it is for you, believing that together we can find some insight, a path towards a more comfortable way of being, and empowering you to make decisions and choices that are right for you. I come from a place of hope and belief in human potential, and I believe that facilitating a sense of resilience can aid emotional well-being now and into the future.
